Katie Price’s money woes could soon be over after Warner Bros. Pictures revealed they have lined up everyone’s favourite car crash to play The Joker in the next Batman movie. The American film production and distribution giant was forced to announce earlier than planned after a photograph of Price wearing the Joker’s prosthetic teeth emerged.
Price posted a photograph of her sporting the movie prop alongside fellow boob job addict and bankrupt Kerry Katona over the weekend. Although Warner Bros. has not officially revealed Price’s fee, Joaquin Phoenix earned $4.5 million for portraying the fantasy villain in the 2019 movie The Joker.
A Warner Bros. spokesperson explained the company’s thinking behind hiring Price as The Joker.
“The Joker is one of cinema’s most famous and recognisable villains. Price is also instantly recognisable due to her ridiculous lips, alien-like facial features from years of plastic surgery, her oversized beachball breasts, and the fact almost every man on the planet has seen her growler on the internet at some stage.”
Katona Delighted Her Friend Will Play The Joker
The Yorkshire Tribune has learned that Kerry Katona is delighted her friend has apparently hit the big time. After leaving the all-girl pop group Atomic Kitten in 2001, Katona endured a spectacular fall from grace. Katona lost a lucrative contract with frozen food supermarket Iceland Foods after photographs appeared in the tabloid allegedly showing her taking cocaine.
“I’m over the mood for Katie; she deserves some luck in her life,” Katona told The Yorkshire Tribune. “I’ll be by her side during every step of her journey, and if anyone wants three for £100, you know who to ask.”
Fans of The Batman Franchise Voice Their Concerns
The Joker is an iconic character, and many Batman fans are worried Price is not the right person to portray the insane clown. The late Heath Ledger‘s performance in The Dark Knight (2008) is arguably the greatest portrayal of The Joker since the character first appeared in comics in the 1940s. Sadly, Ledger died from an accidental prescription drug overdose six months before the movie was released. Can Price hit Ledger’s heights? Most fans think not.
“Giving Price such an important role is ridiculous. She has zero acting experience unless you count her sex tape with Dane Bowers, and that was in 2003. How the hell are they going to hide her overinflated jugs? They’d be better off casting Harvey; at least he’d call people c**ts.”
Mega-baps aside, special effects teams will have their work cut out to make Price look like a believable Joker. While the teeth fit her perfectly, and she won’t need much make-up to look weird, Price reportedly has masses of skin held back in a bulldog clip behind her neck. She’s had that many facelift procedures that the skin on her face is tighter than a snare drum. Everything is pulled so far back that her nipples are now located on her collarbones, and she walks around with her beef curtains located somewhere near her belly button.
Batman Part II Delayed Until October 2027
It will be almost three years before we see what Price looks like as The Joker because The Batman Part II is delayed until October 1, 2027. Initially scheduled for release in October 2025, the Hollywood strikes in 2023 resulted in a two-year delay. By our reckoning, Price will have had three more facelifts, enough Botox to paralyse an African Elephant, have another kid, and get married and divorced for a fourth time by the time the film is released.
