Building a wall around Beeston and Holbeck

STBB Presses For Building a Wall Around Beeston and Holbeck

Politics

Comments the outspoken leader of the Send The Buggers Back (STBB) Party made at a party conference have caused outrage in the Beeston and Holbeck Ward. Nigel Fromage referred to the ward’s residents as “feral” before suggesting STBB would build a wall around Beeston & Holbeck should the party get into power at the next general election.

Fromage has a long history of cutting comments that have alienated him from the general population. The 68-year-old gammon created the STBB Party in the run-up to the 2016 EU Referendum (Brexit), and it has since steadily gained support. Often accused of creating far-right policies, STBB members are not afraid of speaking their tiny, little minds.

Speaking to a crowd of 73 British bulldog tattoo-sporting skinheads at the STBB annual party conference, Fromage incited anger in the Beeston & Holbeck community with his hurtful comments.

“Let’s be honest here; Beeston & Holbeck is a s**thole. What’s the point of it? The people there are feral. The ward has the highest recorded admission rate in Leeds. It has the second-highest suicide rate in the city, and almost 22% of the working-age population sit on their a**es all day claiming various benefits from their bedsits.”

“When STBB gets into 10 Downing Street, we will build a wall around Beeston & Holbeck, just like our Lord and saviour Donald Trump wanted to do on the USA-Mexico border. Mark my words.”

Beeston & Holbeck’s Worrying Numbers

A typical Beeston street

According to the last census, the Beeston & Holbeck ward is home to approximately 27,000 residents across 11,600 or so households. Unfortunately, the area is one of the most deprived in Leeds. Approximately 22% of the working age population depend on benefits, the area ranks first in Leeds for hospital admissions related to alcohol, and has the second-highest suicide rate in the city.

Alcohol and drug abuse is a significant problem in the area, which is likely why the crime rate is over 220 incidents per 1,000 residents, twice that of the city of Leeds average.

Beeston & Holbeck is culturally diverse, which is not to the STBB’s liking. The STBB’s motto is “If you’ve got brown skin, you’re not coming in,” after all. White British people make up 52.7% of the population (69.5% in Leeds), with “other while backgrounds,” mainly Polish and Romanian, accounting for 14.0% (9.5%). A significant Black African community makes up 10.3% (3.4%) of the ward’s residents, and a substantial Pakistani or British Pakistani demographic makes up 7.5% (3.6%) of people who live there.

Over 40% of children starting high school are considered overweight, with almost 30% clinically obese. Those worrying health numbers continue into adulthood, with much higher than city averages for adult obesity, asthma, COPD, and diabetes.

Fromage Wants to Segregate Deprived Areas

At a time when Beeston & Holbeck and other similar wards throughout the United Kingdom are calling out for assistance and investment, Fromage and his STBB goons are calling for mass segregation.

“Let’s wall them off and let them run riot among themselves,” Fromage bellowed. “They do what they want anyway, running around with their Islamic rayguns, so why not ensure they’re only affecting each other and not the taxpayers who contribute to the upkeep of my moat? Plebs will be plebs.”

Yorkshire Tribune contacted the STBB Party and asked if they planned to wall off any other areas of this great city or if they were only discriminating against Beeston & Holbeck residents.

A spokesperson for the party slurred, “The STBB does not discriminate against one particular ethnic group or economic segment of society; we hate everyone equally.
